Local Dining Out Group April Dinner

The Black Horse at Hurdcott (just outside Salisbury)
A traditional pub serving good food and ales. Tucked away at the end of a quiet country lane, with a big garden overlooking water meadows, it is a five-minute drive from Salisbury but feels like a thousand miles from the noise and bustle of the city. It is not tied to a brewery so it can serve a wide choice of real ales, normally Doombar and rotating guest ales including Shepherd Neame Spitfire and Timothy Taylor Golden Best. Also, they have Thatchers cider, 61 Deep IPA, Hop House 13, Amstel, Kronenburg 1664, Birra Moretti and Guinness on draft. They offer wholesome, freshly prepared meals and strive to use local ingredients where possible.

On Wednesday 22nd May 2019 we will be supporting
The Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance

HIOWAA is the charity that delivers an advanced Critical Care Team to sick and injured people in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight when they need it most. Available both day and night, 365 days a year, the Air Ambulance Critical Care Team is called out many times a day to attend road traffic collisions, sporting accidents, collapses and many other incidents. The Air Ambulance and charity Critical Care Team Vehicles are operational 7 days a week and attend an average of 6 missions per day, many of them life-saving. They operate from 7am until 2am, 365 days a year.



Your ticket for our May 2019 dinner will cost £30.00 per person.
(This includes your travel to the restaurant, a Two Course Dinner and tips for our driver and the restaurant staff)

Booking Cut-Off Time

We need to receive your booking, menu choices and payment by early evening on:
Wednesday 15th May 2019
Please try not to leave it until this date as we may be fully booked.


Tickets will be allocated on a first booked and paid basis.
It may be necessary to return bookings if received after we have sold out. It would be a good idea to enquire first before sending
your booking/payment the nearer we get to the 15th May 2019
(If tickets remain unsold, later bookings may be accepted depending upon how near we are to the 22nd May and whether the restaurant will
accept more bookings.)

IMPORTANT: We cannot guarantee any refunds for late cancellations, after the 15th May, unless we have diners on a waiting list
who will not only take the place but also the menu choices you made.

and served with a roasted garlic sauce. [V]

[PORK] Sticky Pork Spare Ribs with a honey and soy glaze served with sweet potato fries.


[CHEESECAKE] Lemon Cheesecake with cream.

[CRUMBLE] Rhubarb Crumble with custard.

[CHEESE/BISC] Cheese and Biscuits.

Coach Pickup Points:

We have arranged the following pickup points on the evening. We hope these will be near to most peoples houses.
Some times and pickup points may be added or removed according to who is coming on the evening.


The above times are estimates. Please try to be at your pickup point 5 minutes before the listed time as we are often ahead of time.
Can you please make sure that we have your mobile phone number when booking and that you have your phone with you and
switched on once you have left your house. We will make our contact phone number available to you in case of emergency.
