Local Dining Out Group April Dinner
in the evening on

We will be dining at The Radnor Arms at Nunton, near Salisbury

   

   

The Radnor Arms, Nunton is a free house situated in the Chalke Valley. Lying in the valley of the river Ebble, overlooked by the ancient defences of Clearbury Ring, just off the A338, 3 miles south of the Cathedral City of Salisbury. Retaining many original features including a large inglenook fireplace, they offer traditional British fare & a good selection of wines & real ales. Cosy & warm in winter with a large beer garden in summer.

Local Dining Out Group Monthly Charity Raffle:
 


On Wednesday 25th April we will be supporting Woodgreen WI Centenary Celebrations with the proceeds from our raffle.

Woodgreen WI is celebrating its centenary this year with a series of events. Any event held always needs funds to support it. As several of our diners are also members of Woodgreen WI we felt it would be appropriate and helpful to make this contribution.

We understand at the moment that two main events will be a WI Garden Party in August in Woodgreen Village and a special WI Christmas Dinner Celebration.


 

Price:

Your ticket for our April 2018 dinner will cost £27.00 per person.
(This includes your travel to the restaurant, a Two Course Dinner and tips for our driver and the restaurant staff)

Booking Cut-Off Time

We need to receive your booking, menu choices and payment by early evening on:
Wednesday 18th April 2018
Please try not to leave it until this date as we may be fully booked.

Tickets

Tickets will be allocated on a first booked and paid basis. Our tickets will be limited to around 30 because of the size of the coach.
It would be a good idea to enquire first before sending your booking/payment the nearer we get to the 18th April 2018
(If tickets remain unsold, later bookings may be accepted depending upon how near we are to the 25th April and whether the restaurant will accept more bookings.)
IMPORTANT: We cannot guarantee any refunds for late cancellations, after the 18th April, unless we have diners on a waiting list
who will not only take the place but also the menu choices you made.

Main Course:

[TAGINE] Moroccan Spiced Vegetable Tagine with a lemon & coriander couscous. Served with a mixed dressed salad. [V]

[PIE] Homemade Steak, Guinness & Stilton Pie – made as an entire pie with shortcrust pastry. Served with creamy mash, garden peas & gravy.

[HAKE] Pan-Fried Hake Fillet with salsa Verde. Served on a bed of ratatouille & topped with deep fried vermicelli noodles.

[COQAUVIN] Traditionally Made Coq Au Vin. Served on a bed of olive mash with fine green beans.

[PORK] Slow Roasted Belly of Pork. Served on wholegrain mustard mash with Chantenay carrots & a cider jus

[BIRIYANI] Traditional Chicken Biriyani. Served with naan bread.

Dessert:

[CHEESECAKE] Passionfruit Cheesecake.

[CRUMBLE] Summer Berry Crumble with Custard.

[CHOCPOT] Chocolate & Baileys Pot with a Shortbread Biscuit.

[RICEPUD] Vanilla & Rose Water Rice Pudding.

[ICECREAM] New Forest Vanilla Ice Cream – 3 Scoops.

[CHEESE/BISC] Brie, Cheddar, & Stilton Cheeses, served with quince jelly & red onion chutney with a selection of biscuits.

We have arranged the following pickup points on the evening. We hope these will be near to most peoples houses.
Some times and pickup points may be added or removed according to who is coming on the evening.

The above times are estimates. Please try to be at your pickup point 5 minutes before the listed time as we are often ahead of time. Can you please make sure that we have your mobile phone number when booking and that you have your phone with you and switched on once you have left your house. We will make our contact phone number available to you in case of emergency.
