Summer BBQ at The Yew Tree Inn at Odstock

       

This is a really nice, older and more traditional Public House & Restaurant in the more rural setting of Odstock, near Salisbury Hospital. It has always been a popular venue. On Wednesday 23rd August we will enjoy a Summer BBQ outside in the garden at The Yew Tree (unless wet, then inside) We will not be booking individual menu choices as you will make these on the evening except we do need to know who would like a meat
or the vegetarian option.

Local Dining Out Group Monthly Charity Raffle:
 

We will be supporting Waggy Tails Rescue with our August raffle. Based in Wimborne, Parkstone, Ferndown & Charminster, they rehome animals within East Dorset and West Hampshire. This enables them to conduct prehoming checks and follow up visits. Waggy Tails also runs an advice service which deals with pet problems and can direct enquiries to the best available help if they cannot help themselves.

The Waggy Tails story is about happy dogs, happy people and happy homes. They always put the animal first – then the rest will follow.  They have a no destruction policy. No healthy animal is ever put to sleep, which means that as well as re-homing they also look after dogs in long term foster homes. These tend to be dogs who are too ill or too old to be re-homed but they feel that these “oldies” have a right to a dignified and happy retirement. They need foster homes and sponsorship for our “oldies” whose vets bills are consistently high!

Price:

Your ticket for our August 2017 BBQ will cost £26.00 per person.
(This includes your travel to the restaurant, a Two Course BBQ and tips for our driver and the restaurant staff)

Booking Cut-Off Time

We need to receive your booking, menu choices and payment by early evening on:
Wednesday 16th August 2017
Please try not to leave it until this date as we may be fully booked.

Tickets

Tickets will be allocated on a first booked and paid basis.
It may be necessary to return bookings if received after we have sold out. It would be a good idea to enquire first before sending
your booking/payment the nearer we get to the 16th August 2017
(If tickets remain unsold, later bookings may be accepted depending upon how near we are to the 23rd August and whether the restaurant will
accept more bookings.)

IMPORTANT: We cannot guarantee any refunds for late cancellations, after the 16th August, unless we have diners on a waiting list
who will not only take the place but also the menu choices you made.
