Local Dining Out Group January Dinner

Wednesday 22nd February 2017

Tickets £26 per person

We will be dining at The Trusty Servant at Minstead, near Cadnam.

       

The Trusty Servant Inn is in the centre of the quintessential country village overlooking the green, with its own stocks and memorial. This Country Pub with great freshly prepared, home cooked food, local real ales and very large garden, welcomes walkers, cyclists, children, dogs and coach parties.

Local Dining Out Group Monthly Charity Raffle:
  As we move into 2017 we will be supporting different charities on a monthly basis. We start in January with the Stars Appeal supporting Salisbury District Hospital. Our idea will be to donate to smaller and even more LOCAL charities. Please send in any suggestions and charity contact details (web address preferred) info@localdiningoutgroup.org.uk

The Stars Appeal raise funds to enhance care for patients across all Wards & Departments in Salisbury Hospital. You can read more through this link. They also have a Facebook page and you can follow on Twitter. We will welcome any prizes you may be able to donate for our January raffle. Every prize given means less prizes we have to buy and more cash to the monthly charity.

Price:

Your ticket for our February 2017 dinner will cost £26.00 per person.
(This includes your travel to the restaurant, a Two Course Dinner and tips for our driver and the restaurant staff)

Booking Cut-Off Time

We need to receive your booking, menu choices and payment by early evening on:
Wednesday 15th February 2017
Please try not to leave it until this date as we may be fully booked.

Tickets

Tickets will be allocated on a first booked and paid basis.
It may be necessary to return bookings if received after we have sold out. It would be a good idea to enquire first before sending your booking/payment the nearer we get to the 15th February 2017
(If tickets remain unsold, later bookings may be accepted depending upon how near we are to the 22nd February and whether the restaurant will accept more bookings.)
IMPORTANT: We cannot guarantee any refunds for late cancellations, after the 15th February, unless we have diners on a waiting list
who will not only take the place but also the menu choices you made.

Main Course:

[FISH/CHIPS] Beer Battered Haddock, Chunky Chips, Garden Peas and Homemade Tartare Sauce.

[MACARONI] Macaroni Cheese with a Barbers Cheese and a Basil Crumb served with Garlic Ciabatta. [V]

[PORK] Slow roasted Pork Belly with Crushed New Potatoes and a Pea & Pancetta Broth.

[CHICKEN] Slow cooked Coq Au Vin with Buttered Chantanay Carrots and Thyme &
Rock Salt Roasted Baby Jackets.

[IRISHSTEW] Traditional Irish Stew and Dumplings with Crusty Bread and Butter.

[SEABASS] Seabass Fillets with Sauté Potatoes, Sun Dried Tomatoes, Spinach, Chorizo & Balsamic Glaze.

Desserts

[ETONMESS] Eton Mess is a traditional English dessert normally consisting of a mixture of berries,
broken meringue, and whipped cream.

[STICKY TOFFEE] Warm Sticky Toffee Pudding served with Toffee Sauce and Cream.

[POSSET] Sicilian Lemon Posset with Shortbread.

[CHEESE/BISC] Locally sourced selection of Cheese accompanied with Biscuits, Butter and Homemade Chutney.

[CHOCPOT] Homemade Chocolate Pot with Shortbread.
(This dessert is normally an extra-rich creamy pudding incorporating bittersweet chocolate.)  

[BROWNIE] Warm Chocolate Brownie served with Chocolate Sauce and Ice Cream.

Can you please send us an e-mail when you have made your payment through the online banking just to let us know and confirm the amount paid.
