Local Dining Out Group Christmas Dinner

Wednesday 20th December 2017

Tickets £35.00 per person
[for a Four Course Dinner, including Coach Travel & Tips]

We will be dining at The Green Dragon, Brook

       

The Green Dragon dates from the 15th century. It was originally premises for a wheelwright and a coffin maker, then became a beer house some 200 years ago. Set in a delightful rural setting, the pub overlooks a stream which is spanned by a humped-backed bridge. During the summer months wild ponies, pigs, cows and donkeys can be seen shading on the forecourt of the Inn. The Pub displays a number of 'bends' of leather, which bear imprints of hot iron brands. These brands represent owners of animals who have commoner’s rights to allow their livestock to graze on New Forest Land.

Local Dining Out Group Christmas Charity Raffle:

 


On December 20th, we will be supporting the Animals Voice charity in Fordingbridge.

The charity campaigns against all forms of animal cruelty, not only domestic but wild animals, in this country and overseas.

They rescue sick and injured wildlife from around the New Forest which when recovered are released back into the wild.

The charity gives educational talks to school groups, Brownies, WI meetings etc. taking along rescued animals. www.animalsvoice.org.uk

 

Price:

Your ticket for our Christmas 2017 dinner will cost £35.00 per person.
(This includes your travel to the restaurant, a Four Course Dinner and tips for our driver and the restaurant staff)

Booking Cut-Off Time

We need to receive your booking, menu choices and payment by early evening on:
Wednesday 13th December 2017
Please try not to leave it until this date as we may be fully booked.

Tickets

Tickets will be allocated on a first booked and paid basis.
It may be necessary to return bookings if received after we have sold out. It would be a good idea to enquire first before sending
your booking/payment the nearer we get to the 13th December 2017
(If tickets remain unsold, later bookings may be accepted depending upon how near we are to the 20th December and whether the restaurant will
accept more bookings.)

IMPORTANT: We cannot guarantee any refunds for late cancellations, after the 13th December, unless we have diners on a waiting list
who will not only take the place but also the menu choices you made.

[PIE] Butternut Squash, Caramelised Red Onion, Spinach, Ricotta & Goats Cheese Pie
