Join us for our next Local Dining Out Evening

at The Red Shoot Inn, Linwood, Ringwood
on Wednesday 20th January 2016

Wednesday 20th January 2016

Location: .   The Red Shoot Inn at Linwood, Ringwood
The Red Shoot Inn is located in Linwood, quite near to The High Corner Inn, which we visited back in July 2015. It is not far from Moyles Court School or The Alice Lyle. It has its own Micro-brewery and also offers camping in the Summer season which is very popular. Local country walks are an important feature in this area, people often vising or ending up at The Red Shoot Inn.

Dining: .   Restaurant
As we enter The Red Shoot we will be dining in the very cosy restaurant which is part of and to one side of the main building but very importantly not far from the main bar. The picture to the left may not be completely representative as there is more to the dining area with more tables. This area can accomodate a smaller group or our full coach. With an open fire burning in the adjacent fireplace who could want more on a January evening?

Travel: .

Herrington's Coach Door to Door
We have arranged pick up points as near as possible to where you live, more can be added. Our coach will be from Herrington's Coaches, the coach size will depend upon ticket sales. Our first pick up point is in Sandleheath then through to
Downton. (picture is not of the exact coach expected)

Drinks: .   Buy your drinks at the bar on arrival
The Red Shoot Inn offers Wadworth Ales and has its own micro-brewery. Link to beers. The bar is strategically placed as you enter the main room of the pub. Wine, cider, spirits and soft drinks are available, also tea/coffee later on in the evening. Please remember to pay for your drinks as you go during the evening. Wine List.

Food: .

Menu Choices
Once again we have agreed a varied and interesting 2 course menu for our dining at The Red Shoot Inn. We have Steak & Ale Pie, Beef Lasagne, Chicken, Pork Caserole, Baked Salmon or Chilli main courses. Desserts are Sticky Toffee Pudding, Cheesecake, Apple Crumble, Chocolate Brownie, Lemon Meringue or Cheese & Biscuits. Tea and Coffee will be available for you to buy after your Dessert. (see full menu choices below)

Raffle: .

Charity Raffle
We have chosen a different charity to start the New Year 2016. This will be Shelter Box which supports emergency aid to places in the World which have been suddenly struck by natural disaster. You can read more about this on their website. The idea and target is for us to raise £590 for a 'New Start' box. We will be able to track and monitor where our box is used.
